Kirsten received her B.A. in Art & Archaeology from Princeton University, and earned a Certificate of Proficiency at Princeton in Visual Arts, winning the Francis LeMoyne Page award for her thesis work in painting and printmaking. She completed her graduate studies in Science Illustration at California State University, Monterey Bay. She has exhibited her fine art in Los Angeles and New York.
